Claim: (At the scene of the accident)
1) Exchange all info, including name, address, PHONE NUMBERS and name
of the other party's insurance company and/or agent, and policy number.
2) A police report is NOT required, but is very helpful if there is a
dispute
over who is at fault.
To report the claim do one of the following:
1) File a claim on our web page. (or)
2) Call the 800 # for claims of your company if one was given to you.
(or)
3) Call your agent during business hours, for individual advice on reporting
your claim, and concerning any coverage questions. Go ahead and get an
estimate of damage to your vehicle unless it is not drivable or the
damage is extensive. For claims under $5,000, most companies will pay
off
of one estimate. For larger claims,the company will assign an adjuster
to
come see the vehicle.
Property
Claim:
1): Take immediate measures to prevent further damage to the property.
( For example, if you have a hole in your roof, put a tarp over it and
/or
make
temporary repairs as soon as possible. The adjuster does not need
to see the property first.) If you have a theft claim, a police report
must be made.

Liability
Claim:
This type of claim results from injury or property damage you
cause to
others (other than auto). Pleasereport any incident you are concerned
about or feel responsible for. We may be able to prevent a law suit
by responding quickly. If you have received a law suit, fax it to us immediately.
Your company will respondto the law suit for you if you have coverage
for the allegations.
